Власти наконец-то озаботились защитой служебных и розыскных собак. Теперь на них наденут специальные бронежилеты, которые защитят четвероногих служивых от осколков снарядов и пуль. Бронежилеты «Норд» разработаны петербургским научно- производственным объединением специальных материалов. Также в ближайшее время будут испытаны опытные образцы комбинезонов для собак спасателей. Они защищают лапы, туловище и голову собаки от воздействия стекла, обломков металлоконструкций, падения различных предметов, других негативных воздействий окружающей среды в различных условиях, в том числе при выполнении учебно-боевых и антитеррористических задач.
